I have had one thought on my mind day and night lately, and I encourage myself with it.
Jesus Never Fails! He has never failed in any area. He has always come through for us. So many times we see His answers to our prayers and His timing… (that never seems to be the same as ours)… as failure. It's not.
Remember the account of Lazarus? Lazarus died. You can't get any more done, than dead! Almost everyone thought Jesus had failed. Why didn’t He show up earlier? Doesn’t He love us? How could He let this happen? We trusted Him, and believed He could help, but He didn’t do what we wanted Him to do, when we wanted it done. It wasn’t that they didn’t believe Jesus could help them. It was just that He didn’t do it their way!
What is wrong with us? Why do we live so selfishly? Ever notice how we just seem to want more and more?
It wasn’t enough that Jesus loved them. It wasn’t enough that He had helped so many times before. Instead they got discouraged, and seemed to almost accuse Jesus of failure.
We don’t want to admit that this is the way we think sometimes, but it is. I need this thing from you now Lord! I need this question answered. I need this problem solved. I need to see you do something Lord to remind me you are there. We have been praying about this thing for so long Lord. Why won’t You answer?
Can't we just be still and wait? Can't we just trust God? What perfect peace we could have, just resting under the shadow of His wings.
I want that perfect peace, and the only reason I won't have it--- is because of me.
Because... Jesus never fails. He had a plan that day for Lazarus. His plan was bigger and better than anyone could have dreamed. He brought Lazarus back from the dead!
That seems like a big deal to me. That same Jesus is alive today, He is seated at the
right hand of God praying for us.
Romans 8:34 "Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us."
What more could we ask for? When you really think about it…God is more than good to us!
Yes….He is!

There is nothing that happens in our life's journey but what HE knows. No matter what the trial is, He has allowed it to happen for a reason- may we all learn to lean and listen and ask, what is it you want of me Lord.. Not , why did you allow this to come into my life? Jesus knows what is best for us !!

Because He never fails...I want to be completely satisfied with Him. Thank you Dianne for this great reminder.
