I just want to praise the Lord… that's all.
I am simply in awe of my Great God! I'm amazed by Him every day. His Word alone, fills every longing of my heart. His presence is more than I deserve or ever imagined it would be. Because
I find myself in a needy place in life most of
the time, I am learning that God is more than
adequate.
I cannot thank Him enough for all He has done. I'm thankful for His grace that has been more than sufficient for me. How can I explain grace? It's something I can't see with my eyes. Not with my human eyes anyway. But, I depend on it as if it were a person standing right next to me holding my hand and at times carrying me. God's grace truly is... Amazing Grace!
His mercy to me is almost unbelievable. The Bible tells us that His mercies are new every morning.
Lamentations 3:21-23 "This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the LORD'S mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
I don't understand how God can be so merciful to me. I know how much I fail Him. I wish I didn't… but I do. Yet, somehow His great compassion finds a way to have mercy on a wretch like me. I want so much to be more like Him. I just don't want to write about anything else except for how good God is! When we recognize that truth, nothing else matters.
God can do anything. He is there for us and He loves us. I wish I knew how to say properly what I really feel and what I know is real. All I want to do is praise Him! He is so worthy of all our praise!
King David once again expresses it best. Psalm 150: 1-6 "Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power. Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness. Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp. Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs. Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals. Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD."
Just imagine what the days of our life would be like if we would sincerely and happily just praise our LORD.
He is worthy of our praise. Let's just do it!
A note from The Beautiful For Thee Editor:
The thoughts presented from Dianne on Choice Silver, come from her personal experience from her bed of affliction. She lives with physical debilitation, every day. Pain and weakness are her constant companions. Her words of wisdom are not the empty babblings of pious Christianity, but truth learned first hand. Her faith is real. Most days, that is all she has to lean on. Because of adversity…she is growing strong in the Lord and she inspires me.
May all who read her thoughts, be blessed and challenged.

You're right Dianne. Too often we get caught up in the "circumstances" and fail to just praise God because He is OUR God. This put it in perspective. Thanks. I sure do love you!
