A note from The Beautiful For Thee Editor:

The thoughts presented from Dianne on Choice Silver, come from her personal experience from her bed of affliction. She lives with physical debilitation, every day. Pain and weakness are her constant companions. Her words of wisdom are not the empty babblings of pious Christianity, but truth learned first hand. Her faith is real. Most days, that is all she has to lean on. Because of adversity…she is growing strong in the Lord and she inspires me.

May all who read her thoughts, be blessed and challenged.

Just Call His Name…He’s Waiting to Answer

I saw a  little sign today that gave big comfort to my heart. It simply said... "God knows what is deep in your heart." I actually cried because some days it feels like no one understands.  But I know for sure that God does.  Hebrews 4:15  “For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Do you ever feel God speaking to your heart saying...we need to talk...you go first... and tell me everything.  I do.  We can fake almost everyone else out, but not God.  He knows.  I'm so glad He knows and I'm thankful that He will allow me to see what's deep in my heart… if I ask Him.  Psalm 139:23  “Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:”  Its taken me a long time to really grasp hold of the fact that I can tell God anything and everything.  He really does want to hear what we have to say! We don't have to be afraid or embarrassed to come to God when our heart is broken… especially over sin.

Psalm 34:18  “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”

God really loves us. He wants to hear from us. He wants to fight our battles, carry our burdens and be the One we run to. It's ok to run to God and to need Him every hour, like the old hymn says.  I am weak-- but He is strong.  Our pride tells us to press on and just do the best you can. The Bible says come unto Me.  Matthew 11:28  “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest”.  There is not one person on this earth who shares my joys and my sorrows like God does.

Let’s take the time to just lean on Him.  He’s as close as the mention of His Holy Name!

Thank you for being an encouragement to all, even though it comes from your walks with the Lord through the valleys. He is so good all the time. It is wonderful to go to Him and lean on Him. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.
